Unboxing Fat Shark’s new training drone

Fat Shark is known for their FPV headsets, but their new training drone (order here) is aimed at beginners looking to get into the FPV scene. The Fat Shark 101 kit includes a custom designed quadcopter that is race ready. Usually, getting into FPV racing requires buying separate parts and piecing them together, and that costs both time and money. The new FPV training kit is packaged as a starter set with everything required to get the drone to fly straight out of the box. To find out exactly what’s in Fat Shark’s new kit, watch We Talk UAV’s unboxing video:

The first thing that a buyer can expect when opening the box is a set of packaged stickers and a microfiber cloth. Two foldable goal rings are also included with the kit. The quadcopter was made to resemble a shark, and it has propeller guards for added safety. The black and white drone was created to be lightweight and thin. Fat Shark threw in a protection plug for the camera to prevent damage and dust to the lens. The Recon goggles were described as lightweight, which means it won’t give neck problems with prolong use like the DJI Goggles. The kit comes with four AA batteries, two drone batteries, an FPV antennae, a USB cable, registration and spare propellers.
