LeveTop is an autonomous folding drone that is portable and shaped like a thermos. Similar to PowerVision’s PowerEgg quadcopter, LeveTop has four propellers that can fold into its frame. Within 24 hours of launch, LeveTop reached its $25,000 goal on crowdfunding site Kickstarter, but units can still be pre-ordered until April 28.

LeveTop Features

LeveTop is rated to fly for 20 minutes with its removable 1500 mAh 3s LiPo battery, and it can travel up to 328 feet with a mobile app as a controller. Its 1080p camera has electronic image stabilization, and it has a 120° lens for a wide viewing angle. The drone is equipped with GPS, and it can even follow and track a person with its vision positioning system. The 350-gram quadcopter is built with four brushless motors that can accelerate the drone up to 33 mph.

The app is also designed to shoot videos for live streaming on social media sites like Facebook, and pilots can transfer and edit footage directly from the microSD card on the drone to the app thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi.
