DJI has just released few new products. One of their most important releases on NAB Show is the brand new DJI Ronin 2.
The drone community and DJI fans would expect anything to be released on NAB, but not the DJI Ronin 2.
Ronin M and Ronin MX are already very powerful and versatile products, but Ronin 2 brings DJI’s handheld gimbals to the completely new level. Here is why:

DJI Ronin 2 Is More Powerful
New gimbal has bigger and stronger high torque motors, which means it can support a wider range of cameras. Massive, professional cameras with huge and heavy cinema lenses is not a problem anymore. Now Ronin 2 can resist high winds and G-forces that allows it to keep moving smoothly on a high speed when mounted on a car.

It Is Extremely Versatile
DJI Ronin 2 can be used for different purposes in different situations such as:
- On cable cam
- As a steady cam
- On a crane
- With the ring grip
- On a car mount
- On a drone

However, Ronin’s versatility doesn’t end there. New gimbal is also using Inspire 2 batteries. It’s very convenient to have the same batteries for the aerial and ground shots.

The dual battery system allows the operator to swap the batteries one by one without turning off the gimbal and interrupting the shot. Additional accessories like external screens and DJI Focus also can be powered with the Ronin’s batteries.

Ronin 2 Has Integrated Screen
Does any other handheld gimbal in the world have a built-in screen? -At least not the one I know. All the settings and adjustments of the gimbal can be done promptly on the little monitor on the yaw axis of the Ronin 2. Also settings can be reached remotely with the upgraded DJI Assistant app.

DJI Ronin Price is $6999 USD
