Mavic 2 Pro vs. Mavic 2 Zoom!

Video output difference

DJI Mavic 2 Zoom 4K footage shot at 24 mm. No color grade was added. Screenshots from the videos can only show so much, so make sure to watch We Talk UAV’s video to see the differences and the Mavic 2 Zoom’s dolly zoom footage.

Videos on YouTube are compressed and optimized, so footage pulled directly from the drone is going to be sharper.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro

We Talk UAV tested the Mavic 2 Zoom’s durability by crash testing it. For a more detailed list of features, We Talk UAV created review videos for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro or DJI Mavic 2 Zoom?

DJI Mavic 2 Pro footage is sharper, but compression on social media sites and YouTube should be considered.

For enthusiasts or professionals looking to get the best video quality possible, get the Mavic 2 Pro since it is built with a 1” sensor and a Hasselblad camera that can shoot 4K HDR videos. Dolly zooms can technically be edited in post using footage shot with the Mavic 2 Pro, but the Mavic 2 Zoom creates zooms that are sharper since it uses an optical zoom. As the comparison footage showed, video quality between the two drones on YouTube is similar. For those looking for more versatility for everyday shooting, the Mavic 2 Zoom should be considered.
