If you are looking to improve lighting for photography or videography with help from a drone, Lume Cube offers a portable, ultra-bright solution. Lume Cubes are small, waterproof and Bluetooth capable LED lights that were spotted on Kickstarter back in 2014, and now the company has branched into creating mounts for drones like the Mavic, Phantom 4 series, Inspire and GoPro Karma. This means you can attach two Lume Cube lights on your UAV to create unique photos and videos. The mini LED light was initially targeted towards action camera users, but professional photographers and even selfie lovers are using the night illuminator to add a new spin to their shots. Here is a first look at the new DJI Mavic mount through FLytPath’s YouTube video:

Lume Cube brings the light everywhere

Don’t let the mini light fool you. Lume Cube is a powerful 1.5” cube-shaped light that can reach 1,500 Lumens! The pocket-size LED comes with 10 adjustable settings, and it can be attached to any tripod thanks to its ¼” mount. It is also waterproof up to 100 feet! The Lume Cube can synchronize with your camera for remote flash, which can be adjusted through a mobile app. It lasts an estimated 20 minutes at its brightest setting, but it extends up to 2 hours with lower settings. This light can be used for everyday situations, interviews and now even drones.
