Recently we’ve seen a lot of leaks of a brand new mini-quadcopter from DJI.
Apparently named Mavic, it looks like a strong competitor for Dobby and the Yuneec Breeze.
At the moment, we don’t know much about the specs. But we do know what it looks like. Yesterday, a WeChat account (a popular Chinese social media service) published some specs and prices. That information appeared on the official DJI website:

- Small and foldable design (about 300mm)
- Physical gimbal (way better than any drone with visual stabilization)
- Wi-fi or Lightbridge video transmission (depending on price)
- Three versions of the product at different price points – depending on the camera, video transmission, and other specifications
- Official release will be in the middle of October
- According to the screenshot from DJI’s online store, the flagship version will cost 8499 RMB which is about $1270 US.
Give the price point – which can now buy you a Phantom 4, expectations will be high.
