DJI footage results

The A footage was shot using the Mavic Air, the B footage was shot using the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 and the C footage was shot using the Mavic Pro Platinum. All these DJI drones are capable of shooting 4K, but when compressed to YouTube, the videos and photos are similar.

What’s the point of this test?

Since these drones can all shoot similar footage, this test was done to show viewers that creativity should be prioritized over video quality. Sure, there are some differences between the three drones, but with the right lighting, video quality can look identical.

Factors to consider

The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 has a larger 1” sensor, so it is better at shooting in low light situations compared to the Mavic models with a 1/ 2.3” sensor. DJI made different models to allow users to pick which drone is best for them. If portability is a factor, then the Mavic series is something to consider, but if weight and size isn’t an issue, then the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is a great pick because it can shoot more footage with its 30-minute flight time.
